Discover the tiny creatures that live right in your backyard during this engaging Bush Kindy session. Children aged 3-5 will become nature detectives, exploring bugs and minibeasts through hands-on activities that spark curiosity and wonder.
Enjoy a mix of bug-themed nature play, storytelling, craft activities, and outdoor discovery that helps build confidence and a deeper connection with the environment. From beetles to butterflies, your little one will be amazed by the miniature world around them.
This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to bond with their children in a natural setting, encouraging learning through play and exploration.
The session lasts approximately 45 minutes and is designed specifically for preschool-aged children accompanied by an adult. Themes vary weekly, keeping each visit fresh and exciting.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in at the Discovery Centre. A ratio of one adult per four children is required, and all attendees, including infants, must have a ticket.
Prepare for outdoor fun by dressing your child in sun-safe clothing, a hat, and enclosed shoes. Bring sunscreen, insect repellent, water, and a snack as there are no food outlets on site. A spare change of clothes is recommended due to possible messy play.
