Bush Kindy invites preschool children and their carers to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Karawatha Forest Park. This engaging session encourages young children to build confidence and respect for the environment through interactive bushwalks, story-time, and creative art and craft activities.
Each 45-minute session is designed to be fun and educational, with varying themes and activities each week to keep little explorers excited and curious about nature.
The experience fosters a connection to the outdoors, promoting physical activity and environmental awareness in a safe, supervised setting.
The event is suitable for children aged 3 to 5 years, accompanied by their parents or carers. A maximum of 5 tickets are available per session to ensure a quality experience, with a required adult-to-child ratio of 1:4.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for check-in at the Discovery Centre. The session runs rain or shine, so come prepared for light weather conditions.
Participants should wear sun-safe clothing, hats, enclosed walking shoes, and bring insect repellent, sunscreen, water, and snacks as needed. Old clothes are recommended for messy play.

The venue is a park setting, so comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate attire are essential. There are no food outlets on site, so please bring your own refreshments.
Access to the event requires booking in advance via Eventbrite due to limited spaces.
All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult during the event. Each adult and child, including infants, must have a ticket.
If you cannot attend, please cancel your booking to allow others the opportunity to participate. Late arrivals may forfeit their tickets to accommodate waiting attendees.
Outdoor activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day if necessary.
