This engaging session encourages nature confidence through gentle bushwalks, storytelling, and creative art and craft activities inspired by the environment.
Each session lasts up to 45 minutes and is suitable even in light rain, making it a wonderful way to connect with nature regardless of the weather. Themes change weekly, offering fresh experiences every time you attend.
This is a perfect opportunity for preschoolers to explore outdoors, develop their senses, and enjoy quality time with family in a safe and supportive setting.
Bush Kindy sessions run for 45 minutes and require prior booking due to limited spaces. A maximum of 5 tickets are available per session, with a strict adult-to-child ratio of 1:4 to ensure attentive supervision.
All participants, including infants, must have a ticket, and late arrivals may lose their place to waiting attendees. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for check-in.
Wear sun-safe clothing, hats, fully enclosed shoes, and bring sunscreen and insect repellent. Old clothes are recommended for messy play, and you may want to bring water and a snack as there are no food outlets on site.
The event takes place at Karawatha Forest Park and Discovery Centre, located at 149 Acacia Road, Karawatha. This beautiful park offers a natural setting perfect for young children to explore and learn about the environment.

All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult throughout the session. The event proceeds in light rain but may be cancelled due to severe weather or environmental conditions.

Attendance is free but bookings are essential and can be made via Eventbrite. Due to limited spaces, early booking is recommended.
