Immerse your little ones in the wonders of nature with this special Bush Kindy session featuring Steve Baines, author of 'Rarer than Rocking Horse Poo'. Designed for children aged 3-5, this event combines storytelling with fun outdoor activities that nurture a love and respect for the environment.
Children will enjoy a lively book reading followed by engaging activities such as bushwalks, exploration, and creative art and craft projects. The session lasts about 45 minutes and is perfect for curious preschoolers eager to connect with nature.
The event is held outdoors at Karawatha Forest Park and Discovery Centre, providing a beautiful natural setting for your child to build nature confidence. Activities vary each week but always focus on environmental awareness and hands-on learning.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for registration. A ratio of one adult per four children is required, and all adults and children must have tickets. The session proceeds in light rain but may be cancelled due to severe weather.
