What to Expect

Join us for a fun and welcoming session of Busy Bookworms, held every Thursday (apart from school holidays and public holidays) at Lionel Bowen Library in Maroubra. This supportive and playful learning space is designed for toddlers aged 12-24 months, where they can develop their language skills through songs, movement, and stories. Your little ones will have a blast interacting with other toddlers and exploring the world of books in a fun and engaging way.

Activity Details

Each session of Busy Bookworms is led by our friendly and experienced library staff, who will guide your toddler through a variety of activities designed to stimulate their language development. They'll sing songs, read stories, and engage in interactive play that encourages your child to communicate and express themselves. The sessions are designed to be fun and engaging, so your toddler will be learning without even realizing it!

Location and Access

Lionel Bowen Library is located at 669-673 Anzac Parade in Maroubra. It is easily accessible by public transport, with buses stopping right outside the library. There is also ample street parking available in the surrounding area.

Important Information

- Bookings are essential for this event. You can book online through the Eventbrite link provided. Bookings open one week in advance, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.

- Please note that this event will not run on the following dates: 17 April, 24 April, 10 July, 17 July, 2 October, 9 October, and 25 December.

- Please leave your prams at home as space is limited.

- All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

- This event is for library members only. Membership is free and you can join online or at any branch.
