What to Expect

Bring your busy little bookworm to a supportive and playful learning space designed especially for toddlers aged 12 to 24 months. This session encourages language development through engaging songs, movement, and storytelling, creating a joyful environment for your child to explore early literacy skills.

Each session is welcoming and fun, fostering a love for books and learning in a relaxed setting. Parents and carers will enjoy watching their toddlers interact with stories and music while making new friends.

This is a perfect opportunity for parents to bond with their little ones while supporting their early communication and social skills.

Activity Details

The sessions run every Friday from 10:45 to 11:15 AM, starting on 2026-02-13 and continuing weekly until 2026-03-27, excluding school and public holidays. Please note the event will not run on specific dates including 3 April, 10 April, 17 April, 10 July, 17 July, 28 August, 2 October, 9 October, and 18 December.

Bookings are essential and must be made for each session you wish to attend. Spaces are limited to ensure a quality experience, and latecomers will not be admitted. Only one session per child per week is allowed across library branches.

The event is free of charge, but booking is required through Eventbrite. If a session is fully booked, it will not appear as available.

Location and Access

Sessions take place at the Margaret Martin Library, located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre on Belmore Road, Randwick.

Please leave prams at home as space is limited to accommodate all participants comfortably.

Important Information

This event is for library members only; membership is free and can be done online or at any branch.

All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian during the session. Only children and their siblings attending the activity need to be booked in.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure the session starts on time. Late arrivals will not be admitted to maintain the safety and enjoyment of all participants.

The library may digitally record sessions for promotional purposes; notify staff if you do not wish your or your child’s image to be used.

The event is free, but places are strictly limited to ensure a quality experience for all.
