Bring your busy little bookworm to a supportive and playful learning space designed especially for toddlers aged 12 to 24 months. This engaging session encourages early language development through a delightful mix of songs, movement, and stories that captivate young minds.
Each week offers a warm and welcoming environment where your child can explore sounds and words while having fun alongside other toddlers. It's a perfect opportunity to bond and nurture your child's love for books and language.
The sessions are lively and interactive, ensuring your little one remains engaged and excited to learn.
These sessions run every Friday, excluding school and public holidays, from 10:45 to 11:15 AM. The program is free but requires booking for each session to secure your spot.
Bookings open one week in advance and places are strictly limited to ensure a quality experience for all participants. Late arrivals will not be admitted to maintain the flow of the session.
Please note the event will not run on specific dates including April 3, 10, 17; July 10, 17; August 28 (Book Week special); October 2, 9; and December 18.
The sessions are held at the Margaret Martin Library, located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre, Belmore Road, Randwick.
Due to limited space, prams are discouraged. The library is committed to accessibility and inclusivity; please contact the library if you have any access requirements so arrangements can be made.
The venue is easily accessible by public transport and offers a safe, child-friendly environment.
This event is for library members only; membership is free and can be obtained online or at any branch. Only children and their siblings attending the session need to be booked.
Parental supervision is required at all times. If you cannot attend, please cancel your booking promptly to allow others to participate.
Arrive 10 minutes early to ensure the session starts on time. The library reserves the right to cancel tickets without notice and may record images for promotional use; notify staff if you do not consent.
Covid-safe terms apply and may be updated with short notice.
The event is free of charge. Bookings are essential and made through Eventbrite, an external booking platform. If you experience any issues with booking, contact the library directly.
Only one session per child per week is allowed across all library branches. Booking links open one week before each session and fill quickly.
