What to Expect
Bring your busy little bookworm to a supportive and playful learning space designed especially for toddlers aged 12 to 24 months. This engaging session encourages early language development through a delightful mix of songs, movement, and storytelling. Each week offers a fresh opportunity for your child to explore and enjoy the magic of books in a warm, welcoming environment.
The sessions are lively and interactive, perfect for toddlers who love to move and sing along. Parents and caregivers will find it a wonderful chance to bond with their little ones while fostering a love of reading from an early age.
Expect a fun, relaxed atmosphere where your child can develop essential communication skills alongside other children in a safe and nurturing setting.
Activity Details
This event runs every Friday from 10:45 to 11:15 AM, excluding school holidays and public holidays. Sessions will not be held on 3 April, 10 April, 17 April, 10 July, 17 July, 28 August (Book Week special), 2 October, 9 October, and 18 December 2026.
Bookings are essential and must be made for each session you wish to attend. Places are strictly limited to ensure a quality experience for all participants, and latecomers will not be admitted. There is a limit of one session per child per week across all Randwick City Library branches.
Please note that prams are not permitted inside the venue due to limited space.

The sessions take place at Margaret Martin Library, located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre on Belmore Road, Randwick. This central location is easily accessible by public transport and offers convenient parking options nearby.

Important Information
This event is free but requires booking through Eventbrite, an external website. Please read their privacy policy before booking. If you experience any issues with booking, contact the library directly.
Only children and their siblings attending the activity need to be booked in, and all children must have parental supervision. Membership to the library is free and required to attend; you can join online or at any branch.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure the session starts on time. Late arrivals will not be admitted to maintain the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
Images and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. Notify staff if you do not wish your or your child's image to be used.
Booking and Prices
The event is free of charge. Bookings open one week in advance and must be made for each session individually. If your preferred session is not visible, it means it is fully booked.
To cancel a booking, please do so as soon as possible to allow others to participate.
