Activity Details
The Butterfly Experience runs daily at 11:15 and lasts approximately 35 minutes. It is designed for small groups with a maximum of 6 participants to ensure a personal and engaging encounter.
Participants must be at least 4 years old, and children aged 4-12 must be accompanied by adults at a ratio of one adult per three children or two adults per four children. Closed-toed shoes are mandatory for all attendees.
Please note that this experience is not allergen friendly due to pollen, flower, and fruit allergens. Accessibility modifications are available upon request by contacting the zoo in advance.
Location and Access
Meet at the Golden Elephant Roundabout, located in the center of Melbourne Zoo. The zoo is open daily from 9:00 to 17:00.
Please remember that zoo entry is not included in the Butterfly Experience ticket, so be sure to book your zoo entry tickets for the same day.
