Experience a unique and welcoming event celebrating the International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination with the Red Tag Fly Fishers. This special day invites families and individuals to explore the art of fly fishing in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Join friendly members of the Red Tag Fly Fishers who will guide you through the basics of fly fishing. Enjoy hands-on activities including a fly-fishing simulator that lets you experience catching a rainbow trout from the comfort of a chair. There will be exciting competitions, prizes, and party bags to keep the fun going.
This event includes both indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring a great time regardless of the weather. All necessary equipment is provided, so you just need to bring your enthusiasm. A light lunch will be served to keep energy levels high throughout the day.
The event takes place at 201 Yarra Bend Road, Fairfield, a beautiful park setting perfect for family outings. The location is accessible by public transport and has ample parking nearby. It’s an ideal spot for a day out with children, combining nature and learning.
