What to Expect
Enjoy a variety of interactive activities including plant rubbings, static electricity experiments, and explorations of animals and nature. Discover the wonders of life science, earth and space science, and physical science at your own pace. Science stations and Citizen Science displays will be featured, showcasing projects like iNaturalist, CSIRO Citizen Science, and the Aussie Bird Count.
The week culminates with a thrilling DreamCity High Tech STEAM Virtual Reality experience at Kilmore Library, perfect for tech-loving kids eager to explore new frontiers.

Location and Access
Activities will be held at Seymour, Broadford, Kilmore, and Wallan Customer and Library Service Centres. Each venue is accessible and welcoming to families, located conveniently within the Mitchell Shire area:

Important Information
Please note the event runs from Monday 17 August to Saturday 22 August 2026. Daily activities are available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, except the Virtual Reality experience which is on Saturday only. All activities are free of charge and suitable for school-aged children accompanied by parents or guardians.
