Step into the eerie and authentic atmosphere of the former H-Division at Pentridge Prison, known as Hell Division by inmates. This immersive experience uses real bluestone cells to transport you into a chilling otherworldly tale. Guided by a professional Game Master, players will collaboratively unravel a complete, self-contained story in a theatrical tabletop role-playing format.
Expect an intense three-hour session filled with suspense, creativity, and teamwork as you explore dark narratives and eerie worlds within the prison's historic walls. This event is perfect for those who enjoy storytelling, immersive theatre, and unique social experiences.
Bring your curiosity and imagination for an unforgettable night where history and fantasy collide in a truly atmospheric setting.

Participants will be actively involved in the narrative, witnessing the creation of eerie worlds and engaging with the story as it unfolds. The event is presented in partnership with Masters of Alchemy, Melbourne’s premier theatrical tabletop role-playing provider.
The event takes place at 1 Champ Street, Coburg, within the historic Pentridge Prison site. The venue is accessible by public transport, with a short walk from tram Route 19.
Coburg is well connected and offers parking options nearby for those driving. The prison’s authentic bluestone cells provide a unique and atmospheric backdrop that enhances the immersive experience.
Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time for check-in and orientation before the session begins.
This event is a theatrical role-playing experience set in a former maximum-security prison cell, which may not be suitable for young children or those sensitive to intense themes.
Participants should be prepared for a dark and immersive environment with limited mobility inside the prison cells.
The experience is collaborative and requires active participation, so a willingness to engage with the story and other players is essential.
