The Centennial parkrun is a timed 5-kilometre event that takes place every Saturday at 7:00 AM, starting from Mackay Sports Ground within Centennial Park. The event runs weekly until December 19, 2026.
Participation is free, and no booking is required. However, newcomers are encouraged to pre-register online to receive a barcode for timing purposes.
Volunteering opportunities are also available, allowing parents and children to engage in the event beyond running, fostering a sense of community involvement.
