Celebrate the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival with a creative and cultural craft activity perfect for children of all ages. This workshop invites kids to make their own beaded key chains while discovering the meanings behind the Snake Knot and the Lucky Knot. The workshop will be held on two separate dates and locations to accommodate more families:
- Monday 21 September from 14:00 to 15:00 at Balwyn Library, 336 Whitehorse Road, Balwyn
- Friday 2 October from 11:00 to 12:00 at Greythorn Library Lounge, 2 Centre Way, Balwyn North
Tickets are free but must be booked for each child participating. Guardians are required to stay nearby during the activity to assist if needed. Please arrive on time as late arrivals over 10 minutes may not be admitted.
The events take place at two accessible library locations in the City of Boroondara. Balwyn Library and Greythorn Library Lounge are well-serviced by public transport and offer convenient parking options.
