What to Expect
Bring your tired tees or shirts and transform them into unique wearable art at the (re)Print Workshop. This engaging session introduces you to the basics of block printing, focusing on colour, pattern, and sustainable fashion practices. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to get creative and a garment ready for a fresh look.
You'll experiment with placement and layering techniques to create one-of-a-kind prints that you'll be proud to wear again. The workshop embraces circular fashion principles, encouraging participants to rethink fast fashion and give textiles a second life.
Expect a relaxed, friendly environment where you can learn new skills, connect with like-minded people, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Activity Details

Participants should bring one or two clean garments such as t-shirts or button-ups that need a little love. Wearing old clothes is recommended as the process can get a bit inky.
There are two sessions available: Session 1 on Wednesday 8 July 2026 and Session 2 on Wednesday 15 July 2026, both running from 17:00 to 19:00. Please register for your preferred date.
This workshop is part of the RMIT x Merri-Bek City Council Circular Campus to Community Project, which focuses on circularity in textiles through streams like Regenerate, Repair, Recycle, Redesign, and Rethink.
