Dive into captivating storytelling sessions led by knowledgeable Powerhouse Volunteers who bring the Powerhouse Collection to life. Each talk offers a unique opportunity to discover objects in new and meaningful ways, perfect for curious parents and their school-aged children.
These sessions foster a welcoming environment for shared learning and conversation, making history and culture accessible and engaging for the whole family.
Whether you’re interested in education, cultural traditions, or local history, these talks provide enriching insights that spark curiosity and connection.
The program runs monthly with three upcoming sessions:
- September 23, 2026: Educators – Explore the evolution of teaching tools and technologies.
- October 28, 2026: Diwali – Discover the vibrant cultural expressions of light and renewal in India.
- November 25, 2026: Parramatta – Learn about transport, migration, and urban transformation in Greater Western Sydney.
Each session is free and lasts one hour, from 11:00 to 12:00.
Drop-ins are welcome, making it easy to join whenever your schedule allows.
