Field archery offers a unique outdoor experience where participants shoot arrows at targets set in natural surroundings, often at varying distances. This traditional sport is perfect for families looking to try something new and active together.
You will be introduced to the basics of field archery, including safety instructions and proper shooting techniques. The club provides beginner-friendly bows suitable for all ages, from children as young as 8 to adults. Whether you want to enjoy archery socially, for exercise, or competitively, this activity welcomes everyone.
Sessions run on multiple Saturdays throughout the year from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Each session allows you to be fitted with the right sized bow and gear, followed by guided practice. The sport helps improve focus, coordination, and fitness, making it rewarding and enjoyable.
The event takes place at Darling Downs Field Archers, located at 69 Willims Rd, Cranley, Queensland 4350 (via Old Goombungee Rd). The natural setting provides a scenic backdrop perfect for outdoor activity and family fun.

Cost ranges from $15.00 to $40.00 per session. Booking is recommended to secure your spot on the desired date. Multiple dates are available from February through December 2026, all on Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
