This session runs for two and a half hours, starting at 9:00 am and finishing at 11:30 am. Participants will be guided through the essentials of kayaking, including how to handle the paddle and stay safe on the water. All necessary equipment is provided, so you only need to bring your enthusiasm.
Please wear enclosed shoes or water shoes (no crocs or loose footwear) and clothes suitable for paddling and getting wet. Don't forget to bring a towel and a change of clothes to stay comfortable after the activity.
The event takes place at Nudgee Beach Reserve, located at 18 Fortitude Street, Nudgee Beach. The meeting point is next to the turning circle off O'Quinn Street near the Nudgee Beach car park. The venue features a canoe ramp providing easy water access.
