Activity Details
There are two planting days scheduled:
- Sunday 14 June 2026, 09:00-12:00 at Jirdarup Bushland Entrance, Baron Hay Court
- Sunday 12 July 2026, 09:00-12:00 at Corner Hayman Road and Brodie-Hall Drive
The first event focuses on planting around the Jirdarup Bushland perimeter to enhance biodiversity. The second event coincides with NAIDOC week, celebrating Indigenous culture by caring for Country and planting endemic species to connect remnant bushland with waterways.
Both events are free to attend and suitable for all ages, making them ideal family outings that combine education, community spirit, and outdoor fun.
Location and Access
The first planting day takes place at the Jirdarup Bushland Entrance on Baron Hay Court, a special remnant bushland area in Victoria Park. The second event is located at the corner of Hayman Road and Brodie-Hall Drive, accessible by car or local transport.
Parking is available nearby, and the planting sites are suitable for families with children. Please wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes appropriate for outdoor gardening activities.

Important Information
