What to Expect
Celebrate National Tree Day by getting your hands dirty and making a real difference in your local community. This event invites families and friends to come together to plant 250 native grasses, herbs, and wildflowers, enhancing the natural environment of Wood Street Playground.
You’ll enjoy a rewarding outdoor activity surrounded by nature, helping to create a healthier ecosystem where birds, insects, and other wildlife can flourish. It’s a fantastic way to connect with like-minded locals who care about sustainability and biodiversity.
Children are welcome to join the fun, making it a perfect family outing that combines learning with hands-on environmental stewardship.
