Volunteers will assist with using smartphones, tablets, and computers, sending emails or messages, downloading and using apps, and accessing websites and online services.
The sessions take place at the Ron Williams Community Centre in Redfern, a friendly community hub open Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 15:30. The centre offers free computers, Wi-Fi, and a welcoming atmosphere with tea, coffee, biscuits, and even books to borrow.
The venue is committed to accessibility and inclusion, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and supported. If you have any specific access or communication needs, you can contact the Community Services Worker ahead of time.
Please note the session dates exclude certain Fridays throughout the year, so check the schedule carefully. The sessions are designed to be inclusive and accessible, welcoming people of all abilities.
You are encouraged to bring your own device to get the most out of the help offered. If you have particular questions or needs, contacting the centre in advance can ensure the best support.
