Activity Details
The workshop runs from 18:30 to 20:30 on Monday, 16 March 2026, at the Toowoomba City Library's Level 3 Meeting Rooms or online via Zoom. Debbie will cover topics such as clarifying your garden goals, site observation, understanding sun, climate, water, and wind, and planning for healthy soil and water management.
After the presentation, a Share Table opens where attendees can exchange surplus produce, plants, seeds, and gardening resources, fostering a community of generosity.
Bookings are essential to receive the Zoom link if attending online and to help organizers plan for supper and seating.
Location and Access
The event is held at Level 3 Meeting Rooms, Toowoomba City Library, corner of Herries and Victoria Streets, Toowoomba City, QLD 4350. Free off-street parking is available under the library with entry from Victoria Street.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and accommodates walking frames and strollers. Children are welcome with parental supervision.
For online attendees, a Zoom link will be provided upon booking.
Important Information
Please bring a KeepCup or similar reusable mug to reduce waste during supper. Donations of surplus produce or gardening-related items for the Share Table are encouraged to support community sharing.
Children attending with adults can join for free but must be booked to assist with numbers.
Membership to Permaculture Toowoomba Inc. is optional but offers free access to regular events throughout the year.
Booking and Prices
Tickets are $20 for non-members, $10 for first-time visitors, and free for financial members and children attending with an adult. Membership for 2026 is $50 per person or $40 for additional adults in the same household and can be purchased during booking or at the event.
