This engaging workshop is perfect for anyone involved in grant writing, especially those with limited or no experience. You’ll learn how to craft compelling proposals that tell the story of your project and organisation, increasing your chances of success.
The sessions cover essential skills such as developing a statement of need, creating organisational templates, humanising your story, budgeting, and aligning your programs with funding priorities. Delivered by expert Natalie Bramble, you’ll gain practical insights from her 20 years of experience.
Whether you’re a volunteer, staff member, or board member, this workshop will empower you with the confidence and tools to write winning grant applications.
The workshop runs for three hours and is offered online on two dates: Wednesday 29 July 2026 and Friday 14 August 2026, both from 09:30 to 12:30. You can choose the session that best fits your schedule.
Registration is essential to secure your spot. The training is part of the City of Sydney’s Connect Sydney program, which supports local community and not-for-profit organisations with free skills and governance training.
Additionally, there is a special in-person workshop for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations’ staff, volunteers, and committee members.
These workshops are delivered online, making them accessible from the comfort of your home or office. This format allows busy parents and professionals to participate without travel time or costs.
