What to Expect
Discover a unique way to connect with your child through the power of photography. This workshop introduces PhotoVoice, a creative activity that allows children to express their likes, dislikes, and challenges through images instead of words. It’s especially designed for families with children aged 0-12 years who have developmental concerns or disabilities.
You will learn how to encourage your child to take photos of activities and places they enjoy or find challenging, with a special focus on outings to libraries. This engaging and supportive online session will help you understand how photography can boost your child’s confidence and communication.
The workshop is delivered online, providing a safe and interactive space for parents to learn and share experiences. A second session offers the chance to ask questions and discuss your child’s photo-taking journey.
