Step into a world of imagination with Green Hat Workshop’s Constructing with Planks session. This free play event invites primary school aged children to explore creativity by building, collaborating, and watching their wooden plank creations come to life—and sometimes tumble down!
Children will have thousands of wooden planks at their disposal to design and construct unique structures. It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids to develop teamwork and problem-solving skills while having heaps of fun.
Guardians are encouraged to stay nearby to support their children and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the library during the winter school holidays.
This event is designed specifically for primary school children and requires booking a ticket for each child participating. The session runs for one hour, providing plenty of time for hands-on play and creativity.
Please note that bookings are limited to ensure a quality experience for all attendees. If you cannot attend, kindly cancel your booking to free up space for others.
Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in denied entry, so punctuality is important to make the most of the session.
The event takes place at Ashburton Library, located at 154 High Street, Ashburton VIC 3147. The library is a welcoming community hub with easy access and parking nearby.
Families can combine this activity with other children’s programs offered at the library, making it a perfect outing during the school holidays.
The venue is accessible and staffed by friendly personnel ready to assist visitors.
Tickets become available from Monday 15 June at 10 am, so mark your calendar to secure your spot early.
Guardians must remain in the vicinity of the library during the event to ensure children’s safety and support.
