Immerse yourself in a unique journey of movement and cultural expression through contemporary dance. These workshops invite dancers and movers from diverse backgrounds to explore how movement reflects personal and cultural stories. The workshops are led by Elena Osalde, Artistic Director of Icástica Choreography, as part of her Creative Development Residency at Interconnect Studio. Sessions run from 18:00 to 20:00 on selected dates between August and September 2026.
Dates include: 14, 19, 21, 26, 28 August and 2, 9 September 2026. Each session costs $25 AUD.
Participants will explore contemporary dance techniques, improvisation, and collaborative choreography aimed at developing a public sharing of the creative process.
Workshops take place at 16 Catherine Street, Coburg North, a welcoming and accessible studio space. The location is well connected by public transport and offers a safe environment for all participants.
