Step into a world of creativity every first Thursday of the month at Brighton Library with Crafternoon. Designed especially for children aged 8 and above, this after-school event invites young minds to explore a variety of craft stations. Each month offers a fresh theme to inspire and engage, from 3D-printer pens to origami and yarn crafts.
Children can bring their own craft projects or dive into new activities guided by friendly facilitators. It’s the perfect way for kids to unwind after school, make new friends, and express their creativity in a supportive environment.
Expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of hands-on crafting opportunities that spark imagination and skill development.
Crafternoon runs on the first Thursday of every month from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. Each session features a unique theme to keep the activities fresh and exciting:
- March: Video games
- April: Easter
- May: Bookish crafts
- June: Music and your favourite artists
- July: Nature
The event is free to attend and suitable for children aged 8 years and older. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to get creative and have fun.
The event takes place at Brighton Public Library, located at 20 Jetty Road, Brighton SA, Australia. The library is easily accessible by public transport and has parking nearby.
