Unleash your child's creativity in this engaging school holiday workshop designed for ages 9 to 13. They will learn how to cut, arrange, layer, and glue vibrant images and text from old magazines and books to create a unique collage journal cover. This hands-on activity encourages imagination and artistic expression, perfect for young artists who love to draw and craft.
Every participant will take home a handmade journal, a treasured keepsake of their creative journey. The workshop is led by artist Lina Tesoriero, who guides children through the process with patience and inspiration.
All materials are provided, so parents can relax knowing everything needed is included.
This workshop runs for two hours and is offered in two sessions: Wednesday 7 October from 11:00 to 13:00 and Thursday 8 October from 14:00 to 16:00. Each session is designed to give children ample time to complete their personalised journals.
The activity is suitable for children aged 9 to 13 and focuses on collage techniques, encouraging fine motor skills and creative thinking. It’s a perfect way to keep kids engaged and inspired during the school holidays.
