Bring your children to a heartwarming arts activity designed to celebrate love and diversity. Kids and adults alike will enjoy painting postcard-sized mini artworks and writing heartfelt messages. This creative session encourages self-expression and connection through art.
Participants can create messages to their younger selves, children, or loved ones, making it a meaningful and personal experience. The activity is suitable for all ages, with adult supervision required for younger children.
Wear your artmaking clothes as the session might get messy, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the creative process without worry.
This free community art project is facilitated by artist Negin Chahoud, who guides participants in crafting their unique letters of love. The event is part of the Creative Holidays program and offers a relaxed drop-in format.
Date and time: Wednesday, 2026-06-30, from 10:30 to 12:30. You can drop in anytime during this period.
All materials are provided, and you can either take your artwork home or contribute it to the Letters of Love community collection.
The event takes place at The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre, located at 78 Flushcombe Rd, Blacktown, NSW 2148. The venue is accessible and family-friendly, providing a welcoming space for creative activities.
