What to Expect
You will be welcomed with a traditional Welcome to Country and engaging yarns from First Nations knowledge holders and custodians. The day includes a guided bush walk through the stunning hinterland, sampling bush tucker, and participating in creative workshops such as boomerang throwing and traditional painting. Children will also enjoy a fun identity workshop to learn about Australian animals, making the experience both educational and entertaining.
Activity Details
The event runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, 19 March 2026. Bus transfers are included with pick-up points at TAFE Queensland Mooloolaba and UniSC Sippy Downs. Morning tea, lunch, all activities, and transport are provided free of charge. Participants are advised to bring enclosed footwear, a hat, and a water bottle to ensure comfort throughout the day.
