Curious Kids is a delightful STEAM-based program designed especially for primary school-aged children who love to solve problems, enjoy challenges, and get creative. Held at the Canungra Library, this engaging series invites young minds to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics in a fun and interactive way.
Children will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities that stimulate curiosity and encourage learning through play. This program is perfect for parents looking to inspire their kids with educational and entertaining experiences during the school term.
Each session runs for one hour, starting at 3:00 PM and finishing at 4:00 PM. The program takes place on Thursdays, with multiple dates available including 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th March, as well as 2nd April 2026.
Parents and carers are responsible for supervising their children throughout the sessions. Children under 10 must remain within sight of a responsible adult at all times to ensure safety and comfort.
The Curious Kids program is hosted at Canungra Library, located at 12 Kidston Street, Canungra QLD 4275. The library is a welcoming community space with easy access and parking nearby.
This location offers a quiet and supportive environment where children can focus on their activities while parents can relax or engage with other community members. The library staff are friendly and available to assist with any questions or needs during the sessions.
Supervision is key: parents and carers must supervise their children at all times during the program. Respect for personal boundaries is encouraged; please ask permission before engaging with children who are not your own.
Children may naturally interact with staff and other participants, but if you prefer your child not to engage socially, please stay close to supervise.
Photography may occur during sessions; if you prefer your child not to be photographed or physically engaged with others, please inform the staff.
