Curious Kids is a vibrant STEAM-based program designed especially for primary school-aged children who love to solve problems and get creative. Held weekly at Beaudesert Public Library, this engaging session encourages young minds to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics in a fun and supportive environment.
Children will have the chance to participate in hands-on activities that stimulate curiosity and critical thinking, making learning an exciting adventure. Parents can look forward to seeing their kids develop new skills and confidence through interactive challenges.
This program is perfect for children who enjoy exploring new ideas and working collaboratively with others in a safe and welcoming space.
The sessions run every Tuesday during school term from 15:30 to 16:30, starting on April 28, 2026, and continuing through June 23, 2026. Each session lasts one hour and is held at the Beaudesert Public Library.
Parents and carers are required to supervise their children at all times, especially those under 10 years old, who must remain within sight of a responsible adult. This ensures a safe and comfortable environment for all participants.
Respect for personal boundaries and social interaction guidelines are emphasized to maintain a positive experience for every child. Photography policies are also in place to protect children's privacy.
The program takes place at Beaudesert Public Library, located at 58 Brisbane Street, Beaudesert, QLD 4285. The library is easily accessible and offers a welcoming space for families.
Parking and public transport options are available nearby, making it convenient for parents to drop off and pick up their children. The library staff are friendly and ready to assist with any questions or special needs.
This central location provides a community hub where children can connect with peers and enjoy educational activities in a safe setting.
Parents and carers must supervise their children throughout the program to ensure safety and adherence to guidelines. Children under 10 must be within sight of an adult at all times.
Please be mindful of personal boundaries when interacting with children who are not your own, and always seek permission from their parents.
If you prefer your child not to be included in photographs or to avoid physical interactions such as handshakes or high fives, please inform the library staff at the start of the session.
This program is free to attend, making it an accessible and valuable resource for families in the Scenic Rim community.
No prior booking information is provided, so it is recommended to contact the library directly for any registration requirements or to confirm attendance.
