Dad Connect offers a supportive online space for new fathers to navigate the challenges of early parenthood. This program is designed to help dads understand the mental load involved and provide practical tools to strengthen their relationships.
The sessions focus on mental health for both mums and dads, and offer a unique opportunity for dads to connect with peers in a safe, understanding environment. It's perfect for fathers wanting to show up differently at home and build confidence in their parenting journey.
The program runs across two sessions:
- Session 1: Parenting as Partners – covers the mental load of early parenthood, perinatal mental health, and relationship support.
- Session 2: The Dad Debrief – a dads-only hour focused on peer connection, mental health, and practical skills.
Each session lasts one hour and is delivered online, making it accessible from the comfort of your home.
This is an online event, so you can participate from anywhere with internet access. The sessions are scheduled for Monday evenings, making it easier to fit into busy family routines.
You will receive login details upon registration, ensuring a smooth and private experience.
This program is specifically tailored for new dads and aims to provide mental health support and practical parenting tools.
Participation is encouraged for fathers who want to engage more deeply in their parenting role and connect with other dads.
The sessions are facilitated by experienced Dads Group facilitators who understand the unique challenges of early parenthood.
Registration is required to secure your place in the two-session program starting July 6, 2026.
Details on how to register and any associated costs can be found on the event website.
This is a valuable opportunity to invest in your wellbeing and parenting skills at a reasonable cost or possibly free.
