Discover the fascinating world of orchids with fellow enthusiasts at the Dandenong and District Orchid Club monthly meetings. Whether you're a seasoned grower or just starting out, these gatherings offer a welcoming space to learn, share, and admire beautiful orchids.
Enjoy engaging talks from guest speakers who share expert tips and insights into orchid care and cultivation. Members display their orchids for viewing and judging, creating a friendly competition that celebrates growing skills.
There’s also a chance to purchase orchids and supplies from fellow members, perfect for expanding your collection or finding that special plant.
Meetings take place every second Friday of the month, starting at 7:00pm with arrival and settling in. At 7:30pm, orchid judging and the meeting officially begin, followed by a guest speaker at 7:45pm. Supper is served at 8:45pm, allowing for relaxed chats and networking before the meeting ends at 9:45pm.
Visitors are warmly welcomed to attend and experience the club’s friendly atmosphere. Members can earn points towards annual awards through orchid displays and judging.

The meetings are held in the Committee Rooms at the Dandenong Showgrounds, Greaves Reserve, Dandenong. This venue is accessible and centrally located, making it easy for local families to attend.

Meetings are held monthly except for November, which has a special meeting on Friday 6 November 2026.

No booking is required to attend the meetings. Visitors can simply arrive at the scheduled time.
