The Daves Creek Circuit offers a longer walk along a beautiful ridgeline with breathtaking views of the valley below. Along the way, you’ll encounter waterfalls, lookouts, and caves, making this more than just a walk—it’s a chance to slow down and reset.
This walk is welcoming to all levels of hikers, whether you’re a seasoned trekker or trying your first bush walk. You’ll be in great company with like-minded women, sharing a relaxed pace and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery.
Activity Details
The walk begins with a brief introduction to set the tone and go over safety details. Then, the group will walk together, stopping for a snack and a swim or quiet moment to soak in nature’s calm. The trails are easy and scenic, designed to be enjoyable without pressure or rush.
The guides, Lucy and Ruby, are qualified wilderness guides with Wilderness First Aid training, carrying a group first aid kit and holding all necessary insurance and National Park permits. This ensures a safe and well-supported experience.
Location and Access
The walk starts at 1069 Binna Burra Rd, Beechmont QLD 4211. Look for the SheVentures sign or the guides Lucy and Ruby when you arrive. It’s recommended to arrive 5 minutes early so the group can start together promptly at 08:00.
The location is accessible by car, and the natural setting provides a perfect backdrop for a day outdoors. Prepare for some walking on easy trails with natural features like waterfalls and caves.
Important Information
Please bring a small backpack, a full water bottle (at least 1L), hiking boots, sun protection, and snacks or drinks. An open mind and a positive attitude will enhance your experience.
If you have any medical conditions or special needs, contact the organizers via Instagram DMs before the hike. The walk will proceed rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe, in which case a full refund will be provided.
Booking and Prices
Tickets are required and reflect the cost of permits, insurance, and guide expertise. Booking in advance is essential to secure your spot. Refunds are available if the event is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions.
