What to Expect

Guided by a Charge Sergeant, you'll be 'arrested' and experience firsthand what it was like to be locked up in the City Watch House. This engaging trip is perfect for seniors who enjoy history and immersive activities.

The day also includes time for lunch, where you can either purchase food at the venue’s cafe or bring your own.
Activity Details
The trip takes place on Tuesday 5 May 2026, departing at 10:00 and returning at 15:00. Transportation is provided by bus, departing from and returning to the Noble Park Aquatic Centre.
Participants must be residents of the City of Greater Dandenong and registered users of the Community Transport Service. The activity is designed for independent and mobile seniors, with mobility aids accommodated.
Admission costs are $38 for adults, $30 for concession holders, and an additional $5 for the City Watch House Tour. Transport costs $15.80 including GST.
Location and Access
The bus departs from Noble Park Aquatic Centre, located at 9 Memorial Drive, Noble Park, where free all-day parking is available.
The Old Melbourne Gaol and City Watch House provide accessible facilities to ensure a comfortable visit for all attendees.
The venue is well connected and easy to reach, making it convenient for seniors to participate without hassle.
Important Information
Bookings open at 9:00 on Tuesday 17 March and are accepted by phone only. Seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Only one trip per month is allowed per participant, with a 24-hour cancellation policy and terms and conditions applying.
Participants should be aware that this is an active experience involving some walking and standing.
