Step into a unique and supportive space where conversations about death are welcomed with openness and compassion. These gatherings are designed to explore the full spectrum of human experiences—joy, sorrow, fear, and acceptance—without dwelling on morbidity.
You will find a warm environment where every voice is heard and every story matters. Whether you are curious about the concept or seeking solace in shared experiences, this event offers a chance to reflect on mortality to live more fully in the present.
These sessions are suitable for adults 18 and over and are workshop-style without hands-on activities.
Death Cafe meets monthly, offering two options: the first Saturday of every month from 13:00 to 14:30 at Midland Public Library, and the first Monday of every month from 10:00 to 12:00 at Ellenbrook Community Library.
Spaces are limited, so booking is essential. Please reserve one ticket per person attending.
Note that photographs and videos may be taken during the event.
The Midland Public Library is located at 45 Helena Street, Midland WA 6056, and Ellenbrook Community Library is at 90 Main Street, Ellenbrook WA 6069.
