What to Expect

Activity Details
The workshop includes hands-on practice with AED devices, ensuring participants gain practical experience. It is designed for all skill levels and requires no prior medical knowledge.
Expect a friendly atmosphere where questions are encouraged, and learning is interactive. The session lasts 1.5 hours, providing ample time to absorb the information and practice.

Location and Access
Held at 45 Albert St, Gumeracha SA 5233, the venue is part of the Community Hub, which includes the Gumeracha Town Hall and library.
Parking is available in three areas around the community hub, including disabled parking at the rear and near the library entrance. The venue is wheelchair accessible with ramps and disabled toilets both inside and outside.
The community centre is inclusive, welcoming everyone including LGBTQI+ individuals and families with young children.
Important Information
The centre is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 15:00; closed Fridays and public holidays. In case of Extreme or Catastrophic Fire Danger Ratings, the event will be cancelled or rescheduled.
Participants are encouraged to bring a torch or phone light if attending at night and dress for cooler weather with an umbrella in winter.
Facilities include toilets, baby change tables, a fully equipped kitchen, and spaces for small meetings.
