Step into a welcoming environment where you can learn to confidently use your smartphone, laptop, or tablet for everyday online needs. Whether it's connecting with family and friends, catching up on news, enjoying music and podcasts, or managing appointments and shopping, these sessions have you covered.
These friendly workshops are designed to help you navigate essential digital tasks like banking and public transport planning with ease. Perfect for parents wanting to support their family's tech skills or for anyone looking to get more comfortable online.
Each session is relaxed and supportive, ensuring you get the help you need at your own pace.
These tech help drop-in sessions are hosted weekly by the Port Phillip Community Group (PPCG). They run every Wednesday at two convenient locations:
- 10:00 to 12:00 at St Kilda Library (Community room)
- 13:00 to 15:00 at Alma Road Community House, 200 Alma Rd, St Kilda East
Please note these sessions do not operate during school holidays, so plan accordingly.
The sessions take place at accessible community venues in St Kilda and St Kilda East, both easily reachable by public transport. The St Kilda Library offers a comfortable community room setting, while Alma Road Community House provides a welcoming space for learning.
Both venues are wheelchair accessible, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably. If you have specific accessibility needs, the organisers are happy to accommodate you—just get in touch.
These workshops are free of charge and suitable for all adults looking to improve their digital literacy. Booking is recommended to secure your spot.
The sessions are led by experienced volunteers from the Port Phillip Community Group, who also provide other valuable community support services such as emergency relief, financial counseling, and job training.
If you require additional assistance or have questions about the sessions, you can contact the library or PPCG directly.
Participation is free, but booking is essential to ensure a place. You can book by calling Port Phillip Community Group on 03 8598 6600.
