You will receive personalised, one-on-one guidance from the Georges River Libraries’ Research and Community History team. This hands-on experience ensures you feel confident using the digitisation equipment available in the library’s Local Studies Room.

Activity Details
The sessions take place on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, with appointment times available between 13:00 and 17:00. Each session is free but requires prior booking due to limited spaces.
You will learn to digitise various legacy media including VHS tapes, audio cassettes, and 35mm or medium-format film. The workshop is suitable for library members and is designed to be accessible for beginners.
Please arrive on time as late arrivals may be moved to a standby queue. If you cannot attend, cancel your booking at least 3 hours in advance to allow others to participate.

The event is held at Hurstville Library in the Local Studies Room, located at the corner of Queens Road and Dora Street, Hurstville.
