We invite you to participate in a series of community workshops designed to create a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) that truly reflects the needs and aspirations of people with disability and their supporters. These workshops offer a valuable opportunity to share your lived experience and insights to help build a more accessible and inclusive community in the City of Vincent.
Each workshop focuses on different groups including people with lived experience of disability, carers, support workers, advocacy groups, service providers, young people, and older adults. You can attend in person at accessible venues or join online, with additional accessibility supports available upon request. The sessions include discussions, feedback sharing, and opportunities to connect with others who share your experiences.
- Dates range from Saturday 19 September 2026 to Wednesday 11 November 2026.
- Sessions last between 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Workshops are held at the Administration Centre (244 Vincent St, Leederville) or Community Centre (99 Loftus St, Leederville), with online options.
- Participation vouchers are available for people with disability attending the lived experience workshops as recognition for their contribution.

Workshops take place at accessible venues in Leederville with ACROD parking available. Online attendance is also offered to ensure everyone can participate comfortably. The City of Vincent is committed to providing additional accessibility supports upon request during registration.
