Let’s talk disability, access and inclusion! We’re developing our new Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) and want to hear from you about what matters most. Drop in for a chat with the Community Development team, grab a copy of the survey and share your ideas.
These pop-up consultations provide a relaxed and welcoming space for community members to discuss accessibility and inclusion. You can expect friendly conversations with the team, opportunities to provide feedback, and access to surveys that will influence future city planning.
The consultations will be held at various locations and times to suit different schedules:
- Friday 11 September, 17:30–20:00 at All Abilities Hoops WA, Loftus Recreation Centre
- Sunday 13 September, 09:00–11:00 at Perth Soccer Club, Dorien Gardens
- Wednesday 16 September, 11:00–13:00 and 15:00–17:00 at Beatty Park Leisure Centre
- Wednesday 23 September, 09:00–11:00 at Forrest Park Croquet Club, 66 Harold St, Mt Lawley
- Wednesday 30 September, 12:30–14:30 at North Perth Bowling Club, Farmer St, North Perth
- Wednesday 21 October, 09:00–12:00 at Library and Local History Centre, 99 Loftus St, Leederville
- Saturday 24 October, 08:00–11:30 at Kyilla Community Farmers Market, Kyilla Park, Clieveden Street, North Perth
- Thursday 29 October, 09:00–12:00 at Library and Local History Centre, 99 Loftus St, Leederville
Events are held at accessible venues across the City of Vincent, including leisure centres, parks, clubs, and markets. Each location is chosen to be welcoming and easy to access for people of all abilities. Parking and public transport options are available near these venues.
Your insights are valuable and will directly influence the City’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan. All ages are welcome to participate. The consultations are free of charge and open to the public. If you require additional support or have questions, please contact the Community Development team.
