Enjoy a vibrant after-school space designed especially for young people aged 12 to 18. This welcoming environment offers a variety of activities including pool table, board games, music rehearsal room, craft, and more. It’s a parent-free zone fully supervised by the friendly Merri-bek Youth team.
Whether your child wants to play basketball, ping pong, or video games like PlayStation and Xbox, they’ll find plenty to keep them entertained. There’s also a quiet space, prayer room, kitchen, and free WiFi to make the visit comfortable and engaging.
This drop-in space encourages social connection, creativity, and relaxation in a safe and supportive setting.
The drop-in sessions run every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the school term from 15:00 to 17:00. No bookings are required, so youth can simply come along whenever it suits them. The program is free of charge, making it an accessible option for families.
Activities are supervised by trained Merri-bek Youth staff who ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a great way for young people to unwind after school, meet new friends, and explore new interests.

The Oxygen Youth Space is located at 4-8 Gaffney Street, Coburg North. It’s easily accessible by public transport with just a one-minute walk from the #37 tram stop at Gaffney St/Sydney Rd and a five-minute walk from Batman train station on the Upfield Line.
