Looking for a safe and fun place for your teenager to unwind after school? Drop-In at The Shack provides a vibrant youth centre where young people aged 10 to 18 can relax, make new friends, and enjoy a variety of games and activities with supportive Youth Workers on hand.
At The Shack, your child can enjoy a range of indoor activities including pool table, foosball, table tennis, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, board games, and sports gear. The open-plan drop-in area is furnished with comfy couches and decorated with cool urban art, perfect for selfies. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, computers, and a workshop room for special programs. Outdoor enthusiasts can take advantage of the nearby basketball court, skate park, and oval.
Drop-In sessions run during Western Australian school terms on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 14:30 to 17:30. The program follows the WA Department of Education school calendar and does not operate on public holidays. School holiday drop-in sessions are also available, with dates listed separately. The program is free of charge and no registration is required.
The Shack Youth Space is located at 101 Ashburton Drive, Gosnells WA 6110, right next to the Gosnells Skate Park. The venue is easily accessible and offers a safe, welcoming environment for young people to gather and participate in activities.
Participants are encouraged to stay home if unwell to maintain a healthy environment for all. Capacity limits may be enforced to ensure a quality experience and safety.
