Celebrate the rich history of Drum Theatre as it marks its 20th anniversary in 2026. This special event invites community members to share their personal stories and experiences connected to the theatre, contributing to a lasting oral history collection. Whether you have been involved for many years or have just recently discovered the Drum, your memories are a valuable part of this milestone.
These sessions offer a unique opportunity to reflect on the impact the Drum Theatre has had on the local community and preserve those moments for future generations. No story is too small or insignificant.

The community recording sessions will be held on two separate dates:
- Thursday, 6 August 2026, from 12:00 to 15:00, immediately following the Encore event.
- Thursday, 13 August 2026, from 15:00 to 18:00.
Each session is free to attend but requires prior registration to participate. The sessions are facilitated by Way Back When Consulting Historians, ensuring a professional and respectful environment for sharing your stories.
