Experience an easy and eco-friendly way to dispose of your old electrical items at the E-Waste Drop & Go Community Recycling Pop Up. This event is designed to help Northern Gold Coast families clear out their homes of unused or broken electronics, keeping harmful e-waste out of landfill and supporting sustainable recycling efforts.
What to Expect
This pop-up event offers a quick drive-thru service where you can drop off a wide range of e-waste items including computers, laptops, small appliances, and batteries. Friendly staff will be on hand to guide you through the process, making recycling hassle-free and efficient. It’s a perfect opportunity to declutter your home and contribute to environmental conservation.
Activity Details
Accepted items include computers, laptops, TVs, printers, small electricals, household appliances (with size limits), mobile phones, game consoles, lighting, cables, electric tools, and household batteries. Please note that cracked or broken monitors, car batteries, fuel-based items, large whitegoods, packaging materials, solar panels, general landfill waste, furniture, clothing, and chemicals are not accepted. For safety, separate batteries and light bulbs from other electrical items.
Location and Access
The event takes place at Pimpama Rivers Parklands carpark, Reedmans Road, Ormeau 4208. Entrance is directly opposite 103 Reedmans Road with clear on-site directions. Consider using public transport or active travel options as parking may be limited. Metered parking is available and can be managed via the EasyPark app.
Important Information
This is a free community event proudly brought to you by the City of Gold Coast. Items containing batteries must never be disposed of in kerbside bins. Booking and Prices
No booking is required for this free event. Simply drive through during the event hours and drop off your e-waste. The event runs from 09:00 to 16:00 on Sunday, 24 May 2026, making it easy to fit into your weekend plans.
