What to Expect
Clear out your home of unwanted electronic waste and help the environment by recycling responsibly. This event is designed exclusively for City of Melville residents to safely dispose of household e-waste items.
You can bring monitors, TVs, phones, tablets, small kitchen appliances, and more. Staff will assist in unloading your items safely and efficiently.
Please bring proof of residence such as a current rates notice or driver's license to gain access.
Activity Details
The drop off event runs from 9:00 to 13:00 on Sunday, 10 January 2027. Arrive early to avoid long queues as the event closes promptly at 1 pm.
Accepted items include most household electronics and small appliances that can be carried by hand, bulk cardboard and paper for recycling, polystyrene (bagged), and x-rays.
Hazardous waste like paint and gas bottles are not accepted here but can be dropped off at licensed facilities nearby.
Location and Access
The event takes place at the City of Melville Operations Centre, 13 Bramanti Road, Murdoch WA 6150.
Upon arrival, join the vehicle queue on Bramanti Road and present your proof of residence at the checkpoint. Follow staff directions to disposal stations where your e-waste will be unloaded.
Please be mindful of pedestrians and other vehicles while on site.
Important Information
This event is strictly for City of Melville residents only; commercial e-waste is not accepted.
Proof of residence with a visible address is mandatory for entry.
The event finishes at 13:00 sharp, so plan to arrive early to avoid missing out.
Collected e-waste will be processed by Total Green Recycling, ensuring data destruction and material recovery.
