Clear out your home of unwanted electronic waste responsibly at this convenient drop off day. It's a great opportunity to recycle household electronics safely and sustainably, helping reduce landfill waste and protect the environment.
You can bring items such as monitors, TVs, phones, tablets, small kitchen appliances, and more. Staff will assist with unloading your vehicle, making the process smooth and hassle-free.
Please note this event is exclusively for City of Melville residents and commercial e-waste is not accepted.
Activity Details
The event runs from 9:00 to 13:00 on Sunday, 29 November 2026, at the City of Melville Operations Centre. Arrive early to avoid long queues and ensure you bring proof of residence such as a current rates notice or driver's license.
Accepted items include most household electronics and small appliances that can be carried by hand. Bulk cardboard and polystyrene are also accepted with specific preparation instructions.
Hazardous waste like paint and gas bottles are not accepted here but can be dropped off at licensed facilities nearby.
Location and Access
The drop off takes place at 13 Bramanti Road, Murdoch WA 6150. Upon arrival, join the queue on Bramanti Road and present your proof of residence at the checkpoint.
Follow staff directions to disposal stations where your vehicle will be unloaded with your permission. Please be mindful of pedestrians and other vehicles when entering and leaving the site.
Important Information
This event is free to attend but strictly for City of Melville residents only. Proof of residence with visible address is mandatory for entry.
Commercial or business e-waste is not accepted. The event finishes promptly at 13:00.
Collected e-waste is processed by Total Green Recycling, ensuring personal data is destroyed and materials are recovered or repurposed responsibly.
