Empower Ryde invites you to join a supportive and engaging workshop designed to boost your employability and confidence. This session is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to craft resumes that highlight your existing skills and show potential employers the valuable asset you can be to their team.
You will also explore a variety of resources aimed at helping you learn new skills and supercharge your job prospects. Whether you're looking to enter the workforce or enhance your current abilities, this session is tailored to help you succeed.
This free program is perfect for people living with disability who want to build job skills, learn about work and business, and connect with others in a friendly environment.
The session will be held on Monday, 17 August 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It is a two-hour workshop facilitated in partnership with the Physical Disability Council of New South Wales.
You don’t need to be a member of Empower Ryde to attend, but joining is easy and free, offering ongoing support and opportunities.
The workshop will focus on practical skills such as resume building and accessing learning resources, making it highly relevant for those seeking employment or career development.
The event takes place in the Wallumetta Room at Top Ryde Library, located at 1 Pope Street, Ryde, NSW 2112.
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible with lifts and ramps at entry points and accessible bathrooms. Accessible parking is available in the Top Ryde City shopping car park near multiple entrances.
The library’s accessibility features ensure that all participants can comfortably attend and engage in the session.
This session is free to attend and designed specifically for people living with disability.
Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time for parking and accessibility arrangements.
