Organisers of large events may apply for a Regulation 18 approval to exceed standard noise limits, but only two such approvals can be issued per venue within any 12-month period. Residents can expect responsive noise complaint handling by the Town's Environmental Health Officers and noise specialists.

Noise complaints during business hours can be made by calling (08) 9311 8111 or emailing envhealth@vicpark.wa.gov.au. After hours, calls are transferred to an out-of-hours service where messages can be left. Immediate noise disturbances should be reported to the Police Assistance Centre on 131 444. The Town enforces noise regulations to protect residents while supporting community events.
